Frequently asked questions

Is Meera really free?

Yes, free forever. No ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases. Meera was built as a gift to all parents.

Why does Meera ask for my baby's due date instead of birth date?

Developmental timing begins at conception, not delivery. Meera calculates every developmental window from the due date, which keeps forecasts accurate, especially for babies born preterm.

Where is my data stored? Is anything uploaded?

Everything you enter stays on your device. Meera has no servers, collects no analytics, and uploads nothing. Deleting the app removes all of its data.

Does the Baby Monitor record audio?

No. The Baby Monitor listens for crying entirely on your device using the microphone. No audio is ever recorded, saved, or transmitted.

How do I add another child?

Tap the profile switcher in the Home header, or go to Settings, then Manage Children, then Add Child. Each child gets their own timeline, diary, skills, activities, and growth history.

Can I use Meera in Russian?

Yes. Meera is fully bilingual. Switch between English and Russian any time in Settings, under Language.

How does Growth Tracking work?

Log weight, length, or head circumference (any or all are optional) and Meera plots them against official WHO percentile curves, showing each measurement's percentile for your child's age.

How do I turn notifications on or off?

Go to Settings, then Notifications, to toggle developmental-window reminders.

How do I delete my data?

Because all data is stored locally, deleting the Meera app from your device permanently removes all of its data.
